Well it surprises me they haven't done it already. I don't see what's stopping them either.

Probably hasn't even crossed Yoshiki's mind tbh although it should. It would make his audience larger and get him more money, win win.

Yeah, he's been so caught up with his solo stuff. If you look up his facebook page, he's always doing

these press conferences and public events, but hardly anything music related.

(though I should mention he's actually touring right now)

Yep, it's really annoying. At least he's going something with X Japan again (the NYC gig), the world tour was a massive success and it finally gave fans a chance to see them (I couldn't go due to exams ;-;). Also I.V. is a incredible and one of my fav X Japan tracks so the world tour and I.V. alone made them getting back together worth it.

If you like metal, their first record is a good place to go next, and then Blue Blood, which is a mixture of symphonic, speed, and traditional metal. Their last record has a lot or orchestral ballads side-by-side with some metal tracks.

That being said, they're all really good albums, band is incredibly consistent.

@Fripper: I'd listen to the song I.V. (their comeback single) then I'd listen to their albums in this order:

-Blue Blood: IMO their second best and their biggest album in Japan. Superb album which has got the most of the classic tracks out of any of their albums and has the largest varity of their sounds. Symphonic Metal, Speed, Glam, Classical and Heavy metal abound in this.

-Dahlia: Ballad heavy with a few, incredible rockers + industral tracks.

-Jealousy: Hit and Miss quality but the hits are gold. This is the album where they strayed away from their aggressive, more raw sounding production of their first two efforts.

-Vanishing Vision: By far their most raw and aggressive releace. Speed Metal to the bone with one of the best guitar tones ever.

@Fripper: Hope you enjoy them :]

Also this is barely Power Metal, that tag should be removed.

"hey, it could be worse. I tried to look up the lyrics to this and a bunch of people were calling this emo because of the theme."
