Wtf, they just released a new single today! With Lanegan gone, I don’t care too much, but I had heard nothing about them making new music. Odd. Couldn’t even find out who is in the band at this point, because didn’t one of the brothers die too?
No matter, it sounds nothing like the Trees, almost sounds like a folk song, and a female singer…!!! Which only makes it sound even LESS like them, especially since Lanegan had such baritone vocals.
Single is called Our Hearts Beat as One (yuck).
