Hey everybody: in the past few months i've been digging some prog-rock i've been listening to, mostly
Rush, Pink Floyd and Uriah Heep. Based on the bands i mentioned, should i listen to Gentle Giant?
I've been meaning to try.

Though not very similar to the bands you mentioned, Gentle Giant are highly recommended. I think their

self-titled debut and this would the best places to start. Up to Free Hand they were really

consistent, so if you enjoy them everything up to that is worth listening to. In A Glass House is my

personal favourite.

love everything on this apart from the really wishy-washy first track. Pantagruel's Nativity makes me think of bloody Camel. from that point on it's free-thinking and brilliant

A bit funny how this came before any of Camel's albums.

Black Cat too. It actually inspired me to write a song with a similar vibe.

Yeah Octopus by a hair off the giant's beard, but this too had so many good ideas coming completely out of nowhere.

This and Glass House are my favourites. I like Octopus a lot, but I've never really understood why so many

seem to consider it their (very) best.

A lot of people say In a Glass House too. It's more instrumental, so I think it loses some of that vocal whimsy we all love ;]
