Naaahhh not when Tertia was already there bein perfect. That’s like giving Barack Obama the nobel prize while Gandhi is in the room

tertia without shit production would be GOAT. ghosts of the garden city, of foam and wave and sycamore are post-rock hall of fame level tracks.

They seem like an easy-going band, so I don't really want to put pressure on them...

but damn we could use some new Caspian soon.

This is about as perfect you could get for this kind of post rock and it's criminal how underrated it is.

Still best Caspian. Dust and Disquiet is a nice counterpart but this one has that little something extra. The summery feeling I guess.

Not heard the most recent two yet, they are next on the list but this is definitely my favourite of the first three. Procellous, Gone in Bloom, Long the Desert Mile and Fire Made Flesh are all stellar. My overall enthusiasm for Caspian is a little dampened though having just jumped from listening to all of Jakob’s discography and they just do it all so much better. The sole reliance on heavily distorted wall of guitar noise for the crescendo can only be emotive a limited number of times in one album and they just lack that sense of adventure and depth that I get from Jakob. Still, this is a great album.

I'm surprised I'm just listening to this now but Gone in Bloom and Bough is just wow.
