Not a review but you've said EVERYTHING that I'm thinking. I happen to think however that Muse died in 2004, not 2009. I can't believe a band that wrote a song like Butterflies And Hurricanes and Sober can come up with something as abysmal as m-m-m-madness (or their last two and a half albums for that matter). I'm devastated!! I loved that band!!!!

well i couldn't possibly describe this as "average". this has some really high points and then some

really low points. it's pretty much a hit or miss throughout the album

There were some tracks like "Unsustainable" and "Supremacy" that were original- considering all tracks & not just the ones that were most popular.

The album is pretty average. Not too much here that sets it apart from the rest, aside from the two songs sung by Christopher Wolstenholme.

this has some really high moments and some really low moments. Supremacy and Liquid State rule but then we have songs like Unsustainable and Madness

Personally the sad thing about music these days is a good album means only 3 or 4 really stand out good songs. I like this album panic station is a catchy energy filled song. You got big freeze it's a little corny, def catchy though. Supremacy great riff decent song. Survival.....Prob my favorite track, it's got this gladiator kinda vibe goin. Madness once again corny as fuck but hey the way he sings the bridge is very awsome. Liquid State is a very cool song, good to hear chris on vox. I give it a 4. I bet if you saw them play some of these songs live you would think they where a lot better.
