I really like this album, but it's slightly annoying that it has so many tracks that simply run under or around one minute. I know listening to the album as a whole helps to understand the concept a bit though. The review was OK,but not really necessary in my opinion. For me, when an album, regardless of it's average rating, has reviews that have rated it both positively AND negatively, then pretty much no more reviews are needed. In your review, it was interesting that you talked a lot about what the concept might or might not have been, but there was barely any actual evidence from the lyrical content, structure of each song or in-depth music analysis. For a first review it works out well though.

Overhyped as this is, Danny Carey is a beast. Dispute that and you are a moron

its already a concept in the original tracklist. although easily interpreted in many many ways, for me it follows the

story of a man trapped in the hopeless matrix of society, falling prey to its games of greed and division and its

vices until he has a powerful psychedelic experience and discovers a new way viewing reality, a new, powerfully

convincing way of embracing existence where unity, love and peace provide a centering anchor through the razor

sharp waves of the chaos of modern society.
