Thank you :] I appreciate, I just realized people use the neg button without even reading the reviews... Sad thing.

I rarely ever neg reviews but somebody very wise once told me that pos and negs don't matter.

They really don't. But a decent approval rating doesn't hurt

But hey Chuck, why do you think this is "abysmal" I wrote this 5 months ago back when I was not a very
creative &/or good writer, I mentioned all the aspects this album offers so that's why I'm wondering
though. Do you dislike the a) & b) format?

a decent approval rating is good only for yourself, mine went from 96% to 47 lol but i write to combat boredom and to expose bands I like, you'll have fun wit it

the problem is that it has a lot of awkward wording, spelling mistakes, punctuation mistakes, run on sentences, and parts where you just say its good without explaining why or how it compliments the other instruments. and yes, the structure is a problem too. it looks sloppy.

The bullets look terrible, those should be worked into a paragraph. Same with the recommended songs but Trebor already told you that

I didn't neg because I think thats pointless. If you have to, make a list with a colon ( and use commas to separate the reasons, but still it would read and look better if they were in sentence form

This band and album are highly overrated. I mean, it's not bad, but it's not that great either.

Maybe im missing something or just butthurt because I loved this album but I don't see how your review reads as "very poor 1.5" either way, overall good review man!

So you hate the album because the genre/scene sucks? Right.

this review read very awkwardly to me, and the rating doesn't seem to go with the review

I don't get why you gave this album a rating of 'very poor/1.5' with the following sentences you wrote: "even when this obviously is not a very original record, the goal was to deliver - and it does excellently."

&

"this is Get What you Give, and if you give this proper listens, not expecting much… Your reward will be one of the most enjoyable modern metalcore records."

You actually said twice that GWYG is AT LEAST 'good/3.0'. Your writing doesn't reflect your rating.
