meh i don't like it, its not bad, I actually usually don't even skip it but compared to DOOM's raps JJ just seems really average, I feel like he shouldn't have rapped on here not bc hes bad but bc DOOM kills him lyrically and it kinda ruins the flow of the album.

The only 3 people that can hold their own on a track with DOOM are Quasimoto, Ghostface Killah and Count Bass D.

So its understandable.

Idk, I like the majority of what DOOM does. "Yessir!" is one of my most played rap songs from the last 3 months.

Well, I live in Germany so I'm used to people overhyping shitty hip hop/rap. You wouldn't believe how monotonous the German scene is. (wordplay? rhetorics? the fuck is that stuff? and how does it work? interesting beats? what's that?)

people over hype hip-hop all the time all over the world lol.

I don't think I've ever listened to any German rappers either

Probably yea, it just striked me as quite an antithesis how much I once hated this stuff because of the local scene.

If you wanna laugh/cringe/your brain to overload listen to Aggro Berlin, Bushido, Haftbefehl or Kollegah. (the latter's actually the only one with a decent to sometimes interesting flow)
That's some of the most popular stuff here and it's pretty unimaginative. It's also that German gangsta rap just sounds wrong. (I mean there's some decent stuff but it's not all that much)

everyone should 4.5 or 5 this so it beats out Kendrick Lamar's average rating.

Yeah, that's what I'm sayin'. I mean this "Kollegah" is partly considered the "best German rapper" and basically he's just ripping off Raekwon's OB4CL theme with some double time (which is not even that bad), more bragging and being more inauthentic considering his name is Florian Flower and he's studying law. So yeah, go figure why the majority of my hip hop playlist is American.
