Very first one was Damage Done by Dark Tranquillity, second I think was The Gallery then got into Insomnium and In Flames.

sweet bro in the halls of weeping was one of my first melo albums, obvs ur prolly more of a dt fan and I saw ur a HSW fan as well, coolio, I dig only their most melodic stuff bu then their style changed a bit too
It's actually pretty close - Insomnium are a very, very close second for my favorite mdm band.
I used to really dig HSB but they have put me off with a lot of their newer stuff (Iconoclast has worn off a bit and their newest one sucks) but their older stuff like Whatever it May Take is ace.
