I see! I thought they were vault material but they are 2013 recordings. Interesting, like a late extension.
Anyway I compared my 30th and 40th downloads and the mastering feels definitely different, I'll keep both around.
The 30th is quieter and still sounds like a product of the 80s, perhaps a little thin but nicely natural and open.
The 40th is noticeably louder in volume, but not in a loudness war sense - the DR measurements are similar to the 30th in fact. I don't know the album enough to say for certain but it feels like Reflections on Suspension has more body here, very satisfying.

Man woke up from pain as usual last night expecting another sleepless night. After a few hours ended up listening to reflections in suspension due to that new list. Brought tears to my eyes and somehow made the pain go away and I made some soup and fell right to sleep. It’s so weird the profound effect music has on me. This is just one of countless examples of it basically preserving my mental state. I always wonder what life would be like without this intrinsic connection. I really don’t know any other way to cope with the world
