Robocop 4 was a brief(?) production like Robocop 3 wasn't bad enough
And George Lucas won't be kissing his heels till he makes some money from Howard The Duck

It's more like this:

robocop 4 is in pre-production

like robocop 3 wasn't bad enough

and George Lucas won't be kicking his heels

till he makes some money from Howard the Duck

jefflebowski: That's what only 2000 quid gets you in terms of studio production.

If you can find it, there's a demo of "Beneath The Waves An Ocean" floating about Grooveshark where the guitar tones for the pre-chorus section are absolutely brutal, far better than the album's. I was sad that they didn't make the transition to the final cut, but at least the bass is absurdly amped up.

Why is it that I'm not enjoying this? It's really boring me. After loving Curses and even moreso TWMAA, I'm not getting into this album despite its universal praise.

Yeah. Their previous LP was my favorite record of 2009. So, it's also well worth checking out. Curses is also quite amazing. Well. I'm a fanboy.

Notes on Achieving Orbit and Sheena are two of the best songs that I've ever heard.

I love that they start and end it with the best songs on the album.

I expected to hate this album when I saw the ratings here. But wow, I was wrong.

Cynical statement, but I know where you're coming from... The taste of Sputnik userbase is often very biased. I'm still trying to figure out why Thrice have such high ratings on here (aside from some other 'Sputnik' bands).
