Aww now that I know it's a group made of Pendulum members it's even more sad, I rather liked that bands first and third albums.

"i wasn't expecting much. you heard the new Skrillex track with no drops or mid-range womp yet???"

Breathe? It's nice to hear him doing something like that. It wasn't spectacular or anything but I enjoyed that one quite a bit.

Free means good to have in case of a party.

Also, I've been meaning to ask this for ages: is there a 'brostep' act that is more than just a guilty pleasure? Like, womps with good (read: nerdy) samples and kickass drops with a lot of layers of sound (as opposed to the really barebones shit I can't listen to unless I'm inebriated).

8/16-bit sounds would also be great.

Matta - Prototype (not 100% sure i'd call it brostep but its got a lot of womps mixed with other stuff)
iNTRiKeT - Songs For Sleepy (same as above)
Mimosa - Any album
Tomba - Disturbed Mix

Yeah, it's like i said, I wouldn't call it brostep personally but it's got a lot of wobbly bass combined with other elements which is pretty much what the guy said he wanted.

I just balked at the term due to it being my favorite dubstep release, I love that album.

I don't think I'll ever understand why a group like this would listen to the latest hyped track on beatport and decide to go out and not do something similar, but fuckin' replicate it right down to the last fabricated beat. Isn't the brostep scene tired of hearing the same stale shit track after track?

I'm not the biggest fan of Noisia's 'Tommy's Theme' track but at least they tried for something creative with it
