There's also some Iron Maiden in Last Resort though. Not only Between Angels and Insects.

riff of last resort always reminded me of "brainstew" by green day
riff of brainstew always reminded me of "25 or 6 to 4" by chicago
riff of 25 or 6 to 4 always reminded me of "babe im gonna leave you" by led zeppelin
so, in a way, papa roach reminds me of led zeppelin

Even though it's easy to look back on some of this album and laugh at it, it was a darn fine album when it came out. While the rap/rock thing is so incredibly dumb nowadays, it was, sadly, popular back then, and Papa Roach did it a lot better than most.

It wasn't until the Paramour Sessions that I really started enjoying his voice. That record is so great. I really need to revisit these guys; I loved them back in the day.

Listening to this in full and this is actually pretty damn solid. I'm obviously accustomed to the singles and shit from back in the day but the rest of the songs are pretty decent too.
