I wasn't saying this isn't mainstream (it kind of is in a way, it definitely will be when our generation starts controlling the music press) I was making fun of Baseline's posting style.

Plenty of hipsters in West Hollywood, which is about 3 minutes from where I live. I'll go to a hipster bar with a boombox playing this album as soon as I turn 21.

What's the best album to start with these guys, guys? I have very high hopes for this band because their name sounds similar to Narural Snow Buildings which is the best band in the universe!

I'd say just start with this one. It's where I started. Haven't heard all of the 1st, though.

I meant, except this one. I heard it and thought it was only good but I still haven't given up my hopes on them yet!

Give it time. Most people say it's a grower. I luckily had it hit me on my first listen. Don't force it either, just let it come to you. If it does, it does, if it doesn't, it doesn't. Happy listening, man!

it took me 2 years to remotely like this record

I admire thy patience. But I will probs give it another listen.

Other than this album, On Avery Island is pretty great, but doesn't hit anywhere close to this one.
