Tbh idk why I have this at a 2, I loved it when it first came out. This was one of if not the first album release I ever remember being really excited for.

I always thought the whole concept behind this was stupid and made no fucking sense but I enjoyed the most of the songs a lot on their own. Certainly it gets way cheesier even than most Coldplay stuff before it and it definitely was kind of a mess and a step down from the level of composition they were doing on Viva La Vida but it’s probably better than a 2 judging from my memory. If I cared I’d relisten and it’d probably get a bump to at least a 3 for the nostalgia alone but I don’t really care so oh well lol.
