Somebody had probably already mentioned this, but in case they didn't, the drummer was the one who sang lead vocals on 'I'm in love with my car'.

Also, the 'echo-y' vocals is my favorite part of the album, so I disagree.

I wonder if Paul Rodgers has ever mixed up "Good Company" and "Bad Company" since he has been the singer of Queen. Anyway, my opinion on this album frustrates me. I want to give it a higher rating than a 4, but I only enjoy about half of the songs.

This is probably the best and most consistent Queen album. No really bad tracks on here, but too little real standouts apart from Bohemian Rhapsody.

Good review but you seem not to be a Queen fan anyway , the echo section on the Prophet's Song is not bad it actually feels good with the song .. that is talking about the ship of Noah i think and all that ... with the harp and the that operatic echo section is giving a feel of old religious story and its actually a dialogue between the prophet and the people before the earth get drown .. and such an operatic section like that in an album in 1975 ? is unprecedented .... and in Sea Side Rendezvous they didn't use another instruments as you said actually Freddie and Roger simulated the kazo instruments ( by their voices ! ) .... and finally i wanna say Brian May did not use violins in 39' simply the way he makes his guitar sound is unique and he is a professional in guitars orchestration & thats what he did in it and probably in any other song .

This is one of the only classic rock albums I ever actually liked

That's a classic album, no doubt about it.

It contains some very good songs but apparently the whole operatic, orchistric atmosphere just doesn't suit me.

That explain's my rating.

Queen started as a hard rock but in this record we don't hear much of it.

Of course that's because Queen prove that they were much more than a rock band.
