Less faux-Twin Peaks, more David Bowie making steamy dance club music no one wants

'tbh this is probably better than Outside'
Outside is a lot less immediate than this but it has the staying power

Idk so much of Outside is like “my Twin Peaks industrial fanfiction”

I dig the aesthetic of 'Outside' a lot and it has a good mix of tunes plus Eno/Garson/Gabrels works out well

Subtlety be damned! As an authority on all things Bowie (last year was in the top 0.01% of Bowie listeners on Spotify!), and someone who’s heard this and all of his albums about 4 or 5 times, calling this better than Outside should be a crime punishable by permaban!

I've probably listened to both this and 'Outside' close to fifty times each ('90s my era - I remember clearly that I stayed up to hear the Earthling tracks on a radio show before release) so yeah, my position on Outside being my preferred of the two is pretty much set in stone
