I have no plans on what i'll do after this discog yet, but right now i'm just gonna focus on Bowie - still loads to write about before i think about the next project.

Usually a day - obviosuly not the full 24 hours, but i try to do one a day when i'm doing a discog, post it the following day whilst writing the next one, and so on.

You're a god damn machine, Tom. I've missed a handful of your reviews now but I'm going to try to get around to reading them when I'm not caught up with work and such. Anyways, since my last post in one of your other Bowie reviews I've taken the time to attentively listen to his discography and I simply cannot get enough. I should have pounced on these albums years ago! Oh well, better late than never, I suppose. Anyways, fantastic review, as per usual. Pos.

Awesome review, I was listening to this the other day and it reminds me so much of Joy Division.

Thanks WhiteNoise. Ian Curtis was a big Bowie fan so there's every chance that this influenced him a lot.

I'm sure you know Tom, but before they settled on the name Joy Division, their name was Warsaw, which was taken from Warszawa

Comes into thread with this rating, dodges lightning bolt......

Ill be honest, the first time I heard this album I fucking hated it. I'm not big on the "avant garde." I can certainly appreciate its influence and its a very good album, but immensely overrated IMO. Give me Ziggy or Hunky Dory any day over this.
