Honestly i thought Deafheaven was one of the less inspired shoegaze/post black metal whatever the fuck wanna call it albums.
Whirl is much better, but again they're straight up shoegaze.

You know Kyle, there are still a unique group of us around here that join you by your side, never giving into the cluster-fuck hate trains on albums that we love to death (Balls, Relinquished, Spirit, etc.). The most respect I give to people on this site are the ones who follow our lead. Good review and I'm giving this a listen as I write this.
