album makes me violently angry with its plodding boring mediocrity

its mere existence turned me off of incubus as a whole for a very long time - i didn't want them on my hard drive at all, solely because this steaming pile of shit exists, and was the first thing that came to mind when i thought of them

which sucks because the rest is good to great

still considering deleting this one and pretending they never made it

Eh, I think this gets a littlee too much hate. Definitely a step down and way too much of a plod but some of the songs here are awesome. Adolescents is one of their best songs ever. Isadore, In the Company of Wolves, Switchblade, title track, promises, and Thieves are all pretty good to great too. Other songs are fine and I can be into them sometimes but they are also just kind of... there. Like the vocals and subject matter are kind of weird and the music isn't too special. I understand people hating it cuz it's a huge drop off from their other stuff though.

The sons of the sea record is decent, has one song I really like on there called where the songs come from. Haven't heard the one under his name
