Album Rating: 2.5
All 4 of their pre-Help! albums are 2.5/5 but there's some gold
She's a Woman (a non-album single) is better than all of them though

Yeah I think this is probably fun but I haven't listened in a long time and I'd probably be disappointed

Although seven long years have occurred since you posted this review, and I'm unsure of the fact that you'll ever read this, I wanted to say this was a great in-depth review of a classic album.

“I saw her standing there” is such a banger

Lowkey the most slept-on Beatles album, the fact that they manage to sound so "live" (for lack of a better word) in a studio setting is remarkable and the vocals kill most everything that Elvis and Cliff Richard put to tape during those days (if not ever)

This is gonna be 60 years old in 2 years. A Beatles album will be 60 in 2 years. Christ on a bike. For some reason I still feel as though the 60s were 40 years ago.
This has some bops on it. I Saw Her Standing There and Please Please Me are wonderful, and Misery, Anna, Love Me Do and Twist And Shout a hardly shitters either. Fun little album :]
