You seem to only review Durst's lyrics... which is the least interesting part of the band.

And I know you didn't do that, you did give that album a 3. So you must have enjoyed the instrumental

part (after reading your review I was expecting a 1.5 or something like this) and that should appear a

bit more in the review IMO.

And one last thing: when ranting about someone's "Drop-D" riffing, make sure he actually uses it ;)

if Borland doesnt use Drop D riffs then I have been sorely mistaken for a long time.

Didnt mean to focus on the lyrics, the whole point of the review is this is Signicant Other and Hot Dog Flavored Water 2.0, at least to me.

This is actually pretty decent for Limp Bizkit. I think it's their best album even if Fred Durst ruins the good songs.

"Fred is angry on “Gold Cobra” just like Fred was angry on every other album"

LOL

Well shit Hans, you sonofa... I think I'm actually going to give this a spin now. I was absolutely set against it before but now I'm curiousness.

Are you doing a shot every time you get a POS?

Have a shot.

he plays mostly in C# standard. He drop tunes to B only in very few songs (faith is the only that comes to my mind), but I never tried to check all of their songs to see how many he actually does in B.

I find it to mix some parts of TDBY in it too. And Durst is even worse on Gold cobra than on those albums IMO ^^

I just find the rest of the band especially good on that album

TDBY is still Bizkits best album IMO. Stuck, Pollution, and Indigo Flow ftw

Borland has songs that are Drop-D but that's not all. I did a quick search and you are not the only one making that point. I think your good bro.

thanks guys.

Omni, I changed it from drop d to 7 string just to make sure its accurate. I can play guitar but only basic tabs and dont have a clue how to read music, so Im a novice in that respect.
