This whole quarrel started because Deviant wrote a review of ISAM first and Stranger wrote one, so Deviant starts to nit-pick this review to make sure it won't get on the homepage. Simple politics.

Except every review is on the homepage genius. Unless you're referring to the feature board, which still isn't the case
And this "quarrel" was sparked over poor choice of words

You could be right, there is an election coming up.

In fact, I actually put the focus on this review
Now that's character assassination

His review was already on the feature board.
Anyway, if anything I've appreciated the bumps.

M'kay, if anyone's still interested in getting this album who hasn't already, I've finally managed to find an album (well, it's not really an album but 2 ep's stuck together) that this takes a lot of inspiration from.
Autechre - EP7.
The percussion lines are very, very similar.

You will find Richard Devine's work more similar and possibly a more direct influence to late Tobin than Autechre. Check out Asect:Dsect, for instance.

This sounds nothing like Autechre

Nope, this comparison is actually pretty solid.
Oh and I am talking just about that album/ 2 e.p's. You've got almost identical effects used, same kind of fluttering etc. Can you honeslty say that the percussion in this does not sound similar to you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWGUnrIiOoI
I am aware that some of their stuff is different, Autechre aren't exactly known for staying the same.

I like you, Stranger, but I do not know why you try so hard. I do not even understand why you try to find a similar-sounding album to ISAM, and even if you can find some similarities between them, there is no clear correlation aside from the fact that they use glitchy effects. Your link does not single-handedly prove your theory.

Because, this being the internet, I can get the pros of posting (a bump for a review I spent a while
on and a possibility of regaining some of that "street cred") while receiving little to no cons
(things get too bad, change the account, it's still new. Also, I don't feel like any of the somewhat
negative views I've realised a few people have gathered towards me actually have any effect since I
get to hide behind a name and an avatar.)
Anyway, to continue this tryhard reputation I've made for myself, I did say inspiration, so it only
has to be an element. This wasn't a case of me going "hmm, I wonder what sounds like ISAM" more me
scouting around old Autechre songs and realising what sounded familiar and what it sounded like,
which, coincidentally, was ISAM.
So... yeh...

This is just silly. While (obviously) no one hear thinks like that this post surely hasn't helped

It never hurts to be honest and I don't think you can blame me for thinking that the guy always disagreeing with me doesn't think I'm the greatest person in the world. :P
But do take into account that although I do agree with what I said I don't take this seriously enough for a lot of it to come into effect. So the street cred stuff? Not too bothered (though anyone would be lying if they said they don't care what everyone else things of them, at least we can agree on that) and I don't think I'd every change the account either, I like this name too much.

I get the impression that you are taking it too seriously though

90% of this site is generally wrong ;)

@Stranger:
So, you are just deliberately stubborn. Or foolish. In any case, it is not possible to have a conversation with you. Enjoy my last "bump".

Heh, I'll accept foolish if that will make you happy.
Sorry if I gave a bad impression, I'm not used to the people on this site yet and what I can get away
with.
@Deviant: I have my moments, but I don't. At least I hope not ):
Anyway. /thread since this is getting a little... off-topic
Any questions just pm me (you can pm on this site right?)
