@wildorwhat

Ah nice song man (:

Still, I'd say that something like Sleeper 1972 (I can't find a video/soundcloud link of the album version) is more emotional.

Mercury Prize will probably go to James Blake tbh, this'll have a chance though.

This has a good shot at getting it since they got nominated with Two Dancers last year.

I've had Lion's Share stuck in my head for three days straight.

All in all, a pretty good three days.

Bed of Nails in my current fav. Glorious, glorious vocals.

This is actually my first album from this band. Which one of their other two efforts should I check out first?

Two Dancers.

@Nomad I disagree, start from the first album you'll understand their sound change better, but that's how I do every band

On a separate note, I love both this and Simple Math but can't decide which is better. I know this is far more artistic and possibly talented, but isn't their something to be said about rocking out and absolutely killing it like Man. Orch. does on Simple Math? The two are really close in my opinion

First album is really demanding though. =/
I dunno, Simple Math is just a...less intelligent album than this.

This made me appreciate Two Dancers a whole lot better. That album is a bit more melodious, but what this lacks in melody it make up for in intricacy and depth. I like that better.

I still have high hopes in the future now. =)
With Two Dancers and Smother; they've proven they can write superb music consistently.

You should probably listen to it again, and then at least two more times, and if you still don't like it

then that sucks

Simple Math? I gave it two listens. I didn't think it was bad; it just wasn't spectacular. Believe me; it's not too deep to prompt another few listens; I get it; I just don't like it as much as everyone else. =)

I'm finding it difficult to decide which is my favorite track. 'Invisible' is great though. Tom's vocals on that track are what you'd expect from him; passion.

Can't pick a favorite track. I could make a case for Loop the Loop, Albatross or Reach a Bit Further, or even Bed of Nails, damn this is a good album.

But could anyone else do without Burning? just doesn't do it for me
