This is miles better than both of those albums. They've finally made a focused effort here, album flows well throughout. My biggest problem with White Tomb was the god-awful doom track they stuck in the middle, totally broke up the flow of the album.

This just has good flow and an intense atmosphere to it. And Crysis, "When the Sun Drowns in the Ocean" is like an interlude track that could have been removed but I feel it really brings home an eerie human quality to the whole picture of what this band is trying to do on this album.

i think White Tomb flows better than this, plus I think the feel of the third track on White Tomb is essential too. it makes me feel like everything is collapsing around me, and the fourth track feels barren, like everything has been destroyed and nothing is left, which brings the album to a brilliant close. /pretension
i think the keening in When the Sun Drowns in the Ocean is a good thing but the instrumentation inbetween... it's just crap, if I'm honest
