They may be. But I'm honestly butthurt by the fact that on this site albums like Dark Matter Dimensions get a rating average of 2.8 while sellout, ungodly shit like A Sense of Purpose gets a 3. Probably someone in the staff is an Illuminatus :P

But there's not all that much difference in a 2.8 and a 3.

Agree with you on most parts man, was blown away with this album, thought it would be better than Dark Matter Dimensions after the two first leaked tracks, but I never thought it would be able to stand up to the quality of Black Pitch Progress, good review.

I personally love this album, but then again, I'm quite the SS fan. I love every album since their debut, and find them getting consistently better.

If DMD had Christian and was produced better it would have scored a 3,5 average at least.

Boring and forgettable save for a few tracks. Haven't touched this since I got a promo a few months
ago. Really sucks because I was the biggest Scar Symmetry fan in the world.

Oh wait that's when they actually had good vocals and musicianship. I don't think the guys in the band
realize Christian WAS Scar Symmetry.

Gave it a 3.5 because I've enjoyed the album even at first listen. Catchy, diverse, well produced, not too much 'core' stuff in it. Nice review. Got my + vote. I like the fact that a lot of people have divergent opinions about this album.

Album's pretty solid. DMD is their worst album by far, but "A Parenthesis in Eternity" is their best song by far.
