Honestly, I think David's points are perfectly valid. I don't always back my opinions up with concrete fact, and I do try to write in a way that's somewhat personable, which may lead to some questionable word choices.
I'll keep your comments in mind the next time I write...specifically the next time I write a really negative review.

that's the thing - nice users go through that phase where they're all like "oh hey, i can be a constructive douchebag just this one time because i never EVER do this and people will think it's funny coming from me ha!" but really it's just out of character
i hate that phase
