I appreciate the support and positive feedback that most of you gave me. It's never easy to contradict a classic like this.

Also everyone keeps saying this reads like a 3.5, but I think that might just be what you guys want the review to reflect. The majority of my review criticizes the album, and about half of the compliments I give it only exist to provide contrast

Good review Sowing. It's nice to see you taking an unpopular view on the album. I've never really been able get into post rock at all.

Thanks man. Yeah believe it or not this is probably the first time a took an extremely unpopular stance on an album since my beggars review back in '09 haha

i guess my tastes are normally in line with popular opinion, for better or worse

Wait, you don't like Beggars? Fuck you!

JK. And there was that Relient K review that I'm still mad at you about.

Even though I don't agree with some your statements, this review was well written. Pos'd

It makes me sad that it takes me months to write one review when you produce 2-3 quality ones in one week lol very good review.

i know it doesnt make any sense. tbh i love some of the songs on there, like the title track and sahara, then therapy and if you believe me are both above average, but the other 11 tracks range between forgettable and unnecessary. Also candlelight and savannah both annoy the shit out of me : /

Reeeally? Savannah is my favorite on there. Best song they've done in my opinion.

No wayyy Phideaux! What is it you like about that song? The annoyingly bouncy beat? The complete lack of anything interesting from an intrumental perspective?

Deathbed is prob their best song IMO

Good review Sowing. I love to listen to this from time to time. One of the few post rock albums I still appreciate.
