These guys riffs aren't that great. the drumming is boring. and with this album they jumped the shark and missed the fucking point. It's trve and kvlt if your album sounds decent but was recorded in poor conditions(like a garage band). But to have the resources to not only be able to make a quality album, but instead go completely opposite and make a shit sounding record is stupid.
The whole point was to create atmosphere, not have your record sound like it has been recorded in a warehouse then dipped in a toilet. These guys didn't suck Varg off enough, because do any of Varg's albums sound like this? Fuck no.
Also, any death metal band that creates death metal and then changes course gets excommunicated from the Necropolis.
