"viva la slipknot!!!!!!!!!!"

No. There will be none of that

"people are just to lazy to find good music and gobble up the crap that is thrown at them. also i dont see what my spelling has to do with my argument. who cares about spelling on a forum page."

It would appear that you are too lazy to use correct spelling and grammar. Who cares about spelling on a forum page? I do. What the fuck are you goin to do about it.

"Some people actually like this "crap". Just because you don't like it doesn't meen were not "allowed" to like it."

Yes it does! No Slipknot for you. You will listen to Metallica, Iron Maiden and Megadeth from here on out. And you will not make any snide remarks about Dave Mustaines vocals! YOU HERE ME MAGGOT!!! (just kidding of course)

I know you're only joking, but I still prefer Slipknot out of all of them. Metallica's a good band too, they just slowly started going the wrong direction after thier self-titled album.

The others I'm just not really big on.

Slipknot With This Album Is Not A Nu Metal band Anymore.I Just Can't See Them Being Labeled Nu Metal From Now On.Nu Metal was The genre That Let The Filthy Hands Of MTV Molest Metal Music.Slipknot Is Too Heavy For 14 Year Old Kids Watching MTV Waiting For Beyonce To Come Up With Her Ass.
To You "muchtallerthanu", Altough I Love Slipknot,I Just Don't Undestand How You Ignore Legends Of Metal That " Metallicaman8" Mentioned.Do Some Listening Man!

There are tons of 14 year old kids that listen to slipknot. Even younger than that.

I honestly always thought they were lame, even when I was in 6th grade or so. Then again I never really listened to nu-metal, so I guess it's pretty natural...

This album did have some good stuff on it (see: guitars), but I can't stand hearing Cory live. The band was good, but Cory...This Message Edited On 02.08.08

Werd. Corey sucks balls live. Then again he would probably loose his voice after like 3 songs if he tried to sing live for 2 hours. On-album he's very compelling though, imo. And yeah, seems to be a lot of nu-metal hate and I can see why. I love Korn. Love Slipknot. Love Otep (cause of their latest The Ascension). And I can tell you, nu-metal is barely metal at all, not in it's true form, or any real definition. It's basically a watered-down, twisted-ass half-clone of what bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath started, and what bands like Opeth and Dark Tranquillity and Death did with it. I reiterate. Nu-metal is barely metal at all. Doesn't stop me from loving it. See the 4.5? ;) Right next to Symbolic and Still Life. Hate Me

well said AngelPhoenix.

Corey's live vocals during the self-titled and Iowa days were awesome. If you've seen the Disasterpieces dvd you'd know.Last time I heard heard Corey's live voice was in 9.0 Live disc and Voliminal dvd and although it did suck badly it was still a while back.I'm interested in hearing whether he's improved since then or not. This Message Edited On 11.04.08
