Some of the riff patterns they use kind of remind me of them.
Ancient Sorrow is better than this.

I never felt Wolves in the Throne Room at all. It's a lot more shoegazey than that.

Def strong Agalloch influence as per usual with this band, but a LOT more progressive this time. Finally settled on a rating. Its good, not amazing.
Carrier of Echos and Ashbringer totally make this album worth while.

Kount knows what's up when it comes to free streams.
And I've figured it out, they sound nothing like Wolves or Agalloch. They have more in common with Moonsorrow than anything else.

yeah something like that, I was thinking of another band but the name doesn't come up in mind. I don't like this band that much though, kinda boring for me.

I don't hear any Moonsorrow.

Well that's what they sound like Kyle so maybe get up to date with your Moonsorrow hahahahaha. They have elements that remind me of them but I still fail to hear Agalloch. These guys are pretty distinguishable with their melodies which is why I'm falling in love with them.

Moonsorrow have absolutely no hints of post rock or shoegaze anywhere while this album is drenched in it. I'd definitely say it falls in the same category as Agalloch (not saying it sounds exactly like them) with their rather sporadic song structures and huge incorporation of more benign atmospherics in contrast to their heavier black metal sections (not to mention their shared post rock influences) but I think comparing them to a folk black metal band is an extremely long stretch.

I think there's folk influences here, but definitely not strictly folk like Moonsorrow is. Moonsorrow is much more comparable to a band like Equilibrium. I definitely get the Agalloch vibe from this with the whole mixture of folk and post-rock.
