"Who cares about R'n'R Hall of Fame?"

Well, let's say that their introduction will be the ultimate reward for their contribution in music.

"They try to honour a lot of artists, but a shit ton of them weren't even part of any kind of rock scene, which makes its name really misleading."

Yeah, totally. You see inducted artists like ABBA or Madonna and you think "wtf, is this the rn'r hall or what ?"

Well, actually I think that the induction of bands like ABBA or the Bee Gees are correct, (not THAT

much with Madonna...), but there are many other groups that should be priority

Interesting to note that this came out 2 years before SWoD.

Part of what makes this rule are the drums, they sound great on here imo.

Drifting Sun >>> most of the Scorps' singles imo.

Uli's solos on Fly People Fly are too good, he had an amazing tone.

Don't see why people would call this inconsistent, but opinions ofc. Personally, I think this is a pretty consistent album.

Only flaw I could point out here is perhaps the production.

The production is ok for an early 70's album imo

Uli was awesome.

This just blows most of their 80's material out of the water imo.

Uli's vox could be an issue for some tho.

At about 2:20 or so on t/t, there's a part that makes me think of Maiden. They prob borrowed hard from these guys.

Sadly most people only recognize these guys as a typical 80's cheesy rock band

Yeah. 70's Scorps, much like 70's Queen, has tended to be overshadowed by the 80's output of said bands.

Yeah that might happen because of a few songs but people who are into rock/metal are aware that their really good stuff is in the 70s.
