The wild lyrics on this album are a big contributor to my enjoyment of it. Together with the punkish influences of venom and motörhead combined with the bands unique musical identity, especially piggy's guitar playing, it creates a mental landscape of some kind of space mad max world.

amazing
haven't seen them being mentioned as a major influence on voivod and they started out roughtly at the same time so it seems unlikely that they influenced voivods sound that much. if they really sound that similar its more likely that both bands had similar shared influences and zeitgeist.
