Album title is like click bait. You see it and you almost have to listen just to see why it gets away with that fucking weird of a name.

This had been on my back-list of albums to check for a few years because of that title. Finally got around to it and it's great stuff, album is more likely to grow than not. There's something special going on with "Synapses" and "Dust Season" in particular.

ok sow, i'm checking this rn and gotta say i wasn't really feeling those first few tracks, but after that it picked up, i'm liking these midway tracks more.



Tho gotta say too, besides the vox, i really don't see how this is that similar to hop along.

it's got a more relaxed vibe, hop along is more energetic and guitars play a much more central role than they do here. This is almost 100% indie, hop along feels more ecclectic (indie rock/classic rock/ art rock/baroque pop/etc).

I think the main similarity is in the vocals; this is definitely denser and darker than hop along
