Yes, ordinary world was a cover. They took it and made it their own however. Original in the world of mainstream rock, if you will.

Sad to hear about this being tired and relatively uninspired, looks like I'll pass it by for the moment.
Good review btw.

I'm amazed how much our reviews (one which I wrote in advance, hoping to release the day it streams [damn those staff privileges]) align.
I feel almost the same, although I might be a tad more biased (hence the 3.5).
Edit:
And I kind of disagree when you say the songwriting got lazy. It's repetitive and redundant, but the word lazy seems to imply something about them as writers. I don't think they necessarily got lazy, just a bit self-indulgent.

I think the reviewer was not thinking about the new Crossfade album "We All Bleed" that will be out in few months. I had a chance to listen to it and it is really deep and creative. I think this will overcome Red's album easily ! Check out their new songs on their website! Great review by the way !

@wyankeif1337, if you are a fan, you'll love it for sure. IMO, its not as great as I&I, but a very good album nonetheless.

Nice review, Observer! I sort of feel obligated to get this since I've followed the band pretty much since they started. I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but from what I have heard it sounds like I'll agree with this review almost completely. What I've heard is fairly enjoyable, but pretty generic and painfully similar to their past albums. It will probably end up getting about a 3 from me.
Also, thumbs up for liking Chevelle.

By the way, I recommend people re-listen to Who We Are.
Out of all the songs, it seems to be the only one that has grown on me. It's actually really enjoyable, which was weird since I used to skip it a lot.

@Emim I am not working for any label. I just really enjoyed their new album that's all. I think "We all bleed" is somehow breaking new boundaries in mainstream rock music. Anyway, I will not go any further on that album, it is not linked by any means with Red's new album. We'll talk when it will be widely available on reviewed here.

This is actually pretty good, just not a lot of standout tracks. Faceless is goooood though.

Oh you mean that Godsmack album? It's just a paler version of this.

Feed the Machine rules hard.
Jared pretty much nailed it with the review though.
