This CD is defenatly linkin parks best work. This is what introduced me to metal, and I still find myself listening to it often, 5 years after it came out.

Hey, I still listen to this album today (all of it) and I still love it! I'm hardcore LP fan so I'm giving it a 5/5
Reanimation had a few good songs, but a lot of the rap done by the "guests" and not by Mike was garbage. "pissed on my lawn, took a dump like a chump" what the f*ck is that?!
I liked Meteora. However I think the only reason I liked Meteora was because it was practically the same thing as Hybrid Theory.
as for Collision Course, I haven't even heard it yet. I read the cover and put it back on the shelf after I read "Jay-z". Maybe I'll listen to it if I end up in hell and satan forces me to listen to it for eternity as torture.

After listening to this album I thought, wow, Nu-Metal sucks, then I found Mudvayne and Disturbed and relized that it's just these guys.

I'm torn between a good and a great on this one, so I'm throwing down a good. Whereas some of the songs on there were just "OK", the others made up for it, for the most part, by being pretty great.
I like this album by them, and will continue to even when one of my friends keeps bugging me that they think Linkin Park is totally emo. >.> Lol.

Dude, Linkin Park isn't nu-metal! WTF! It's called Alt. Rap.
And Mudvain sucks.

It's really too bad that these guys went down the crapper, because this used to be my absolute favorite album, ever.

IMO THE Nu-Metal album

I disagree. IMO L.D.50= THE Nu-Metal album

Clearly, L.D. 50 is nu-metal at its finest. This is an entertaining album, but not very technically skilled or original lyrically. It did introduce a new sound and flavor to nu-metal though. I also like this album, but L.D. 50 rules.
God. It seems like I have to go defend Mudvayne and L.D. 50 everywhere today.

For the longest time, I thought i was tired of this album and didn't listen to it. Then I listened to it and I still like it as much as I did 3 years ago.

I don't mind to listen once in a while, not really my type of music. However, despite agreeing with you that Chester is a good singer... I can't believe you said: "Or just screaming like he is in a Death Metal band just like By Myself"
Death Metal? Excuse me? Sorry... no
