the fun prevails though

to all the people who are trying to justify someone like Girl Talk as a "musician" the avalanches- since I left you is essentially the same concept as this, though on a much more grand scale.

Now is would be ridiculous to say the the avalanches are not a group of musicians as they have released arguable the best album of all time (not my opinion but my friend who has a far better taste in music/ is a musical prodigy claims it is the best)

therefore this and to a less extent sea's friend are musicians.

Girl Talk is no musician...

He IS a technician and one of the best. The sheer number of songs he successfully puts into one track

and makes it enjoyable and listen-able makes him an artist though, just not one some can appreciate.



Seriously though he makes most DJs look like pikers.

Something got lost in translation here. DJ Shadow and Girl Talk are on two different playing fields.

DJ shadow makes his own loops with instruments and other items and mixes them with samples.

IMHO DJ Shadow is a musician.
