They're a rare breed. Even more rare is the band that doesn't take itself seriously that is still good.

I knew there'd be a few select people on this site that would be into this, it was just a matter of whether or not they checked out the review.

Why do people give each other flowers? To celebrate various important occasions, they're killing living creatures? Why restrict it to plants? "Sweetheart, let's make up. Have this deceased squirrel."

Ha ha, that chick is some Norwegian metal vocalist or something. I don't know, but she's guested on this and the new Dimmu.

Yeah, I intentionally kept Dimmu Borgir's name out of the review in order to not put off the few people that might actually like this.

Haha well that was a good idea. I knew that was her and I tried to look it up, but couldn't find anything.

Wow so far this album is back to form for them. Red for Fire was awesome, Black for Death not so much but this is sounding great

Thanks for the link to their Myspace, "Vitets Vidd I Verdi" was interesting. At first I liked it, then started to become annoyed. Yet when the song ended it stuck in my head, and I found myself missing the strange yet catchy vocals.

I might end up getting this.

I'm listening through random songs from them and really think that they're quite good, only one song I didn't really enjoy has reared its head so far.

Which song didn't you like?

"Sun I Call" - it took a long time to work up to anything enjoyable. I'm enjoying the variations that each song has though, "Dionysify This Night of Spring" is really good.

Yeah, each of their albums is pretty different from each other. The Red For Fire/Black For Death albums are probably the most inconsistent (inlcuding that song "Sun I Call" in that statement).

Thanks for the advice, I think by far my favorite track would have to be "Motmenneske"

I'm going to get something from these guys, it's too much eclectic goodness to pass up.
