The folk instrumentation didn't add that much to the last album anyways. I won't be checking this out since I wasn't too interested in the last album (which probably means I will dislike this for sure).

Still don't think this is nearly as bad as some people say. No more than a 3.5, but still an enjoyable listen every now and then.

Yeah, I suspect you're right Lucidity. Microcosmos is good, but I didn't get out of it what a lot of people here seem to have. And this, well, this shit is just boring as hell.

It's not that boring. The vocals are the same as they've always been for Drudkh and there's some good riffs and solos throughout the album. The only thing it's missing is that folk element, which is a huge part of their sound. Other than that flaw though it's a solid album. The first real track could've been trimmed down by a few minutes though.

The riffs and solos are completely lackluster, at least for me. Sad to see one of my favorite bands go from an amazing black metal band to a crappy post-metal band. If I want to hear a better version of this album I'll go listen to Isis.
