Agreed Lakes. That is the exact reason why I have it as a 5. Plus Something is just an absolutely beautiful song and I Want You gives me chills.

I'm not trying to start a riot but I fail to see why Revolver gets so much love. It's definitley a 4.5 album but isn't their best and it suffers a little towards the end, also Rubber Soul is better :P

And i think Revolver is so loved cuz most, if not all, of the songs are masterpieces and the experimentation on that album is impressive even by todays standards. I personally consider Revolver to be the best pop album of all-time, while Sgt. Pepper's is the most influential album ever, and Abbey Road the best rock album ever.

Rubber Soul is a great album! It's the first album by them that really started genre bending and experimenting. I think of it as the starting point of their prime and it's just as essential as any other Beatles album.
