It breaks my heart that every band sounds the same now. Are we meeting the death of the genre or what??

I feel like I want to give this an average, but Masses Of A Dying Breed and Answers (also Relentless Chaos to an extent) pull it just just past that. Only just.

It's not like this band ever held promise anyways.

Terrible Review... i mean, the band is OBVIOUSLY progressing... Every great band has a different sound with every album. Nothing is worse, just different. Maybe you should review something a little more simple, like Tyler Perry movies.

lol yo i dont hear any progression at all. They just carried on in the same vein as Apologies Are For The Weak.

I'm confident they'll turn around this abominable effort in their next release. Apologies Are For The Weak still remains in my top list of guilty pleasures, though.

This album is totally forgettable, but I listened to it today while shooting skeet/trap and I shot super well. So maybe its only real use is as a good motivator to dust clay? That's good enough for me.

It has some pretty slick production and they do do have some raucous breakdowns...

I think Gears is the outstanding song on this album.

weaving a vocal patchwork of grating material

haha shit I don't think you could have a less appealling description of a song.

I still love Miss may i but i find myself wanting to love this album instead of just loving it straight away.

Gears is the only really outstanding song on the album.

i remember reading a comment on one of their news items that couldn't be more right.

it was something like "sounds like Darkest Hour with no balls".

Nothing wrong with this at all. I haven't listened to their debut, so the fact this sounds almost the same as it, doesn't affect my opinion of this album.

Oh and whats so wrong with songs propelled by catchy choruses?
