I respectfully disagree with the this. You're obviously correct about Moonchild, but I cannot always agree with your reasoning. 21st Century Schizoid Man may repeat its theme, but twists and turns more than enough if you pay attention. Epitaph, despite being the most repetitive piece on the album (mostly because of the chorus), has definite but very subtle mood changes that keep it haunting all the way through, and Greg Lake's astounding vocal delivery keeps the repetitive structure of The Court of the Crimson King more than bearable.



I also find that while you describe the record as aged, especially in terms of impact, it still thrills me to this day and is, despite all those years having passed, some of the most unique music ever recorded. I obviously feel strongly about the album, and it has a special place amongst my favourites, but even fully objectively I feel it deserves no less than a 5. But hey, just my cup of tea.

Review has a blatant lack of depth. If you wouldn't put too much emphasis on every lost minutes within each songs, you'd be running out of valuable arguments. Also, I wonder why your rating is so high. Sounds like a 2.5. Your rating seems based solely on 'I talk to the wind'. I won't neg it even if you tried too hard to diminish the greatness of this timeless masterpiece.

what i admire about you is that not only are you remarkably unlikeable (not just to me, but most users also) AND you seem proud of it for some reason but you just make it seem so easy. hats off.

and if you stopped chugging haterade for two seconds you would notice that i explain VERY clearly why this is nowhere near a 5.

moonchild not ending after 3 minutes certainly bars this from getting a 5, although for some reason i feel like the original did end after 3 minutes and we just got shafted with a failed marketing gimmick on the remaster

Nah, Moonchild is how it originally was. It's partly a song and mostly a band jam. It does get boring, but is the album's only weakness.
