Yeah sorry, I should specify, it's mainly Davey that seems to downplay the first two albums. The others seem to enjoy it. I know Jade in particular has stated in interviews that he enjoys playing the early material live.

I don't freaking know anyone in the band by name other than Davey. I def rememnber Jade so I am going to look up the old line up. Maybe Hunter but he is current so. I felt like they had a change at some point. And maybe it was Jade pushing for a more "Sing the Sorrow" feel. That album rules but just haha I like the albums around that time. This album ain't great anyway.

To the guy who said Jade was not tight... Jade was always tight. He was doing guitar spins in the middle of songs and shit. You can't accuse him of being a bad guitarist. He had some of the most iconic underrated riffs of the early 2000s

Never said he was a bad guitarist either. Trust me, I know all about Jade's guitar and songwriting achievements, he's probably the main reason I started playing guitar many, many years ago.
