A very good album, I don't know why some people hate this band. Pretty harsh groove metal. I think of them as Pantera meets Drowning Pool (vocals remind me of Dave) meets Sepultura.

If you are looking for a polished groove metal album then you've found the right.
This should be their best.

So this is basically death metal meets nu-metal.

I remember when I first got this CD i was barely into music with screamed vocals and pretty much only listened to the singles. Listening now, this record is fucking solid, enjoying it MUCH more than I used to. Devildriver /m/

i rather enjoyed the last kind words myself but having just bought beast and loving every minute of it its hard to say. id probably say beast is from a guitarists standpoint. yet tracks like Grinf*cked and Hold Back the Day are fantastic.

Pretty awesome stuff. "Hold back the day" introduced me to the band back in 2007 and I was hooked instantly.
