Hold Fast Hope would be my favorite on Vheissu if Vheissu didn't have The Earth Will Shake, For Miles, Of Dust and Nations, Stand and Feel Your Worth, and Red Sky.
yeah that album's kinda good

I honestly don't get the hype about Red Sky. The verses are pretty sweet but the buildup to the chorus is pretty overdone and the vocals/vocal melodies come off really bland to me.
As I said I don't like Vheissu as much as Thrice's other stuff but Stand and Feel Your Worth is an awesome song

I like the epic feel it gives. Dustin's majestic voice surrounded by the atmosphere created by the instruments is a near perfect blend. I personally love the break at the end though, and I feel it is the perfect closing for the album.

Ugh but that chorus is like sticking a pin in a balloon

i think one of my fav. thrice songs is flags of dawn
but who knows
beggars is up there too

I love Flags of Dawn too! i hadn't ever heard that song before until the House of Blues show.
Oh, and I forgot about Broken Lungs.

Flags of Dawn is sick, but I love Weight of Glory even more; one of the most musically epic songs Thrice has ever done (and if anyone hasn't heard it they need to get on iTunes right now and download it). It's essentially the last really heavy song they ever made (in the vein of Hold Fast Hope, Paper Tigers, etc...) and it rules.

i hope thrice's next album is completely off the wall...im talking a huge leap in musical progression, or maybe a big change in direction. i was kind of hoping they would do this with beggars since they finally rid themselves of a label, but i found beggars to be pretty standard thrice, and boring thrice at that.

I agree with you, SowingSeason!
I want them to put the raw emotion into their new album, emotion that was lacking on Beggars. They're already tried 99 things as musicians, but I want to see what else they're capable of.

But a bitch ain't one.

I already heard Anthology, it's one of their strongest songs yet.
