Yeah I know, he is funny. Tbh once I had the desire to 5 this just to annoy some butthurt metal
purists which got upset with everything that wasnt 90's black metal made in Norway or old school death

Tesla is very good, whitesnake is not perfect but is enjoyable and coverdale has a lot of moments, need to hear more extreme and enuff

Enuff Z'nuff is kind of glammy power-pop, like a beefier Cheap Trick. Great melodies.

Not with the intention to be a massive dickhead but twisted sister destroys white lion in every sense, stay hungry is more raw and the musicanship is more talented, maybe the production of white lion is better. White lion is average, sure they are better than poison,winger, dooken, trixter, firehouse, nelson and warrant but nothing more, vito is not bad but he was just standard glam metal guitar player.

I really appreciate what Cheap Trick was trying to do, but it never completely landed with me. Like, for their Time and genre, they were above the bar, but I never could dig them as much as I wanted to, I guess.

I've listened to Cheap Trick way too much, although Dream Police is a cool song.


The 80's had far too much cheese; I know because I grew up in it, and after I got into other music, it's kinda hard for me to jam 80's a lot of stuff on my own accord.

Obviously there are exceptions, such as Depeche Mode, Van Halen, Queensryche, and the like.

Also thrash and early alt-rock, but that's another story.
