Crossbreed are lucky to have made it out of the nu metal hole with any fans left at all. Spineshank do that type of music better, too ;)

Spineshank always felt more nu to me, though they are good, I concur. Have you tried this band called Synthetic Breed Trey? They're like heavy industrial too, pretty good, though I haven't listened to them for some time

best FLA albums are implode, hard-wired, and tactical neural implant. wouldn't recommend starting with millenium.

btw, jed simon played guitar on implode. jed simon is from strapping young lad, so another devin townsend relation

I didn't know that Jed played on implode. I don't even remember that album all that much. I guess I'll have to listen to it again.

I agree, they have some gems scattered among a lot of shit.

Ah, cool then.

It's just the idea of Industrial + Metal not making me drool like I was having some kind of seizure scares the crap out of me.

Thanks potato, started it a while back but stopped because I couldn't find any good pictures. This band has A LOT of material and of course it can't all be good.

Personally, I find most Industrial Metal to be mostly terrible (Willie already knows this), although I do enjoy the two genres separately very much indeed.

Orly? "Top of my head" my ass.

Although I am a fan of industrial, I always find it challenging to rec bands to others because I enjoy the type where it's mostly synths and a simple drum beat and then nothing else. I have not met many people who enjoy that type of insdustrial.

I feel you. I like industrial but it's not one of the genres I'm most fond of. Industrial metal I enjoy. The Rammstein kind.

I gotcha, I like Rammstein too. Have you checked out The Shizit and Rabbit Junk yet?
