This is an awesome record but their next release (Need to Control) is even better. I can't believe it doesn't have a review on this site!

This band kind of fell off after Need to Control. Not that they became bad, they just couldn't live up to the standards of that record.

Sounds of the Animal Kingdom is pretty good. It's really straightforward grind compared to Need to Control, and lacks a lot of the death metal elements found in this.

It's grindcore not deathgrind ... death grind are shit like blood and bands like these ...
To be precise this is grindcore with a little more death metal than usually.
But not deathgrind for sure

And Sounds of the Animal Kingdom is their best album since they got rid of their pointless dm excursions. And no, there is nothing straightforward about that album at all.

the beginning of Regression-Progression reminds me of the beginning of Carcass's Ruptured In Purulence hard.
