I love these guys but I see where you're going with the repetition thing... I'm still getting this,
though. There must be a standout track somewhere in there (i.e. Black Tears).

There definitely are some standout tracks ("Given In Death" and "Combat") but the rest is just so hopelessly lifeless that it ruins the good moments.

my buddy who is just sort of a youngster into metal told me about this band. They're pretty average for me. Maybe good to play at a party where nobody wants to hear anything too crusty
