Thanks, knott, and I understand and agree with what you're saying. My review would appeal more and be understood by those that didn't particularily enjoy his last like I did, which would be a small group of people. I guess finding those albums to be average, despite such acclaim, helped contextualize things for this review maybe, especially since I'm such an outlier? Idk, thanks for the crit though, and I'll try to apply that in the future.

Isn't it like a couple staff have to rate it some number or higher? This does have lot of staff ratings even if a lot of them are in the 3 range

Cosmogramma has a bunch of staff love too though, like 10 ratings and none below a 3.5, and there are only two of those.

Good review, but I completely disagree with it. The last three "duffers" are my three favorite tracks on the album. I don't understand why so many dislike Pow Pow, it's a fun track. Definitely has some Talking Heads influence. This is album of the year thus far imo
